Club Etiquette


  • All guest must register their photo ID under our Premises License Act.

  • Respect all members and guests within our home.

  • Take care of all furniture and items within our premises.

  • All large bags and overcoats must be kept in our cloakroom.

  • Smoking is not permitted in the club (there is a smoking area outside of the front entrance)



Charlie Berkeley Street operates a smart and elegant dress code. We expect all guests to respect the code.

Dress to Impress!!

  • Clean, non-sports sneakers will be accepted but only when worn with a sufficiently smart attire

  • Jeans are permitted as long as they are not baggy, torn or scruffy

  • T-shirts, sports clothes, polo-shirts scattered with logos or numbers, shorts & flip-flops are not permitted

  • Baseball caps and beanie hats are not permitted. Elegant hats such as a trilby or fedora are welcome

  • Any Member who complies with the dress code but still does not appear sufficiently well-presented may be refused entry

Please note any decision regarding the suitability of a Member’s appearance will be entirely at the

discretion of the management.

We would be grateful if you could also ensure the dress code is conveyed to any guests you invite to the Club.

Guideline for all guests - please refrain from wearing:

  • T-shirts unless you keep a smart jacket on within the premises

  • Sportswear

  • Trainers or deck shoes

  • Casual or Heavy duty boots

  • Untucked shirts
